I jumped into the local television news business 20 years ago. The work took me to glamorous places such as Florence and Anniston Alabama. I’ve worked at great stations and really really bad stations. I’ve been an anchor, producer, talk-show host, color commentator, reporter, photographer, weatherman, feature reporter, and news director (for one week).
Out of the business in 2004 I ran my own small business for nearly 2 years before taking another tv job, this one in Nashville. I started this blog when there was no one for me to talk to in my home-office. I’ve kept doing it because…well, I don’t know why I still do this.
I’ve got three kids (oldest is in college, youngest in 3rd grade) and a wife. We’re a fairly normal family. I blog about tv, pop culture and anything else that comes to mind.
Mike, I am so sorry it’s taken me…what….three months to get back with you?
I’d really love to learn more about you and the ministry there at Hope Church. Brother Sam is a great guy who I wish I had been able to get to know better before we both left the Memphis area.
